At 40, Mikiala Spadaro, an environmentally conscious yoga and wellness instructor, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. The consulting surgeon said Mikiala’s very large, fast-growing, aggressive tumor is a “killer”. Furthermore, she insisted chemotherapy be used to shrink the tumor immediately or Mikiala “won’t see her 3 year-old son turn 5”.
