HELP SET THE DIALOG MOOSE LOOSE
6 questions. 2 minutes. One very Canadian experiment in Dialog NOT Division.
Canada could use a little more conversation.
So we built something simple:
It’s a free 6-question quiz with a mischievous Canadian hook:
Americans think we want to be the 51st state.
We know better.
Take the quiz. Compare answers. Challenge a friend.
And meet the Dialog Moose.
The Moose stands for something much bigger than another internet quiz:
DIALOG NOT DIVISION.
Not another lecture.
Not another angry campaign.
Not more people shouting past each other.
A reason to laugh, think and TALK.
THE $2,500 MOOSE MISSION
I’m raising $2,500 to get CooltobeCanadian.ca off the lonely screen and into the real world.
The money will help us:
• Promote the free quiz across Canada
• Create Dialog Moose swag - cards, stickers, badges, wearables and simple conversation materials
• Put the quiz in front of communities, schools, events, media and Canadians abroad
• Test face-to-face Dialog NOT Division activities with Canadians and beyond
• Keep the website and campaign tools operating while we grow
That's it.
The goal is not another organization.
The goal is more conversations.
WHY A MOOSE?
Because Canada doesn't need another furious mascot.
The Dialog Moose is big enough to stand its ground, calm enough to listen and Canadian enough to get the joke.
The idea is simple:
Be strong enough to talk to somebody you disagree with.
And if Canadians can make Dialog NOT Division cool, perhaps we have something worth sharing with the rest of the world.
WHO AM I?
I’m Philip McMaster, also known internationally as SustainaClaus.
For more than a decade I've carried the People's SDG Banner through communities, classrooms and UN climate conferences, from Everest to the Amazon.
This November I expect to carry the Dialog NOT Division message toward my 11th UN climate COP, COP31 in Türkiye.
But this campaign starts much closer to home.
Canadians first.
One quiz.
One Moose.
One conversation at a time.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO DONATE
Seriously.
There are three ways to help:
1. TAKE IT
Go to CooltobeCanadian.ca and take the 2-minute quiz.
2. SHARE IT
Send it to ONE PERSON you think should take it.
3. BACK IT
If you want to help us put the Dialog Moose in front of thousands more people, contribute to this $2,500 launch fund.
$10 helps us reach more people.
$25 helps turn an online idea into physical campaign material.
$100 helps put a Dialog Moose activation into a community.
$500+ helps us take the experiment substantially further.
But the amount matters less than participation.
THE EXPERIMENT
Can something as simple as a Moose and a six-question quiz get people talking to each other again?
I don't know.
Let's find out.
Take the quiz:
CooltobeCanadian.ca
Then invite ONE PERSON.
If it makes the two of you talk, argue, laugh or think...
the Moose is doing its job.
