Helping a Friend After the Loss of her Husband

Ken Crabtree, age 53, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. Ken served in the Air Force, was very active with Boy Scouts (seeing his sons both earn the rank of Eagle Scout), and most recently worked at Auto Zone. He was a beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Ken leaves behind Teresa, his wife of 28 years, his sons Joseph Lee Crabtree and William Isaiah Crabtree, his sister Anna Crabtree, and his grandsons Lorenzo Lee Crabtree and Aurelius Michael Gideon Crabtree.

My name is Stephany Webb, and I am a friend of the Crabtree family. I created this GoFundMe account to help Teresa Crabtree with funeral expenses and to reduce the financial strain from losing Ken’s income. Teresa, an active Scouter for more than 25 years, helped a multitude of Scouts and their families throughout her career as a Scout leader. In the spirit of giving back, friends and fellow Scouters have asked for ways to honor Ken and help support Teresa in her time of need.
