Please help me recover from career ending injury

Donation protected

Literally, if I could sacrifice myself to save the world and all living things from all their problems and suffering, I would without hesitation, unfortunately right now I'm the one that needs help.....
Hey y'all, I'm Tim....
For the past 24 years, I've dedicated my life to being an auto technician. Unfortunately, my career has come to a crossroads. Years of physically demanding work, combined with a recent incident where I suffered whiplash while driving, have left my back in a condition where I simply can't continue as a flag tech anymore. Despite pushing through for weeks after the injury, the pain became unbearable, and I had no choice but to step away from the job I've devoted my adult life to.

I went through the workers' compensation process only to be told my injuries were "degenerative," with no real examination of my back beyond an MRI. Afterward, short-term disability was denied as well—despite my doctor recommending I see a spine surgeon for proper diagnosis and treatment. The system relied on the work comp doctor’s word, and since August 20th, I've been left with no income and no clear path forward.

Before all of this, I was building my Jeep Cherokee with the dream of starting an off-road recovery business. I envisioned creating something like Matt’s Off-Road Recovery on YouTube—a career that lets me help people daily while doing something I’m passionate about. But now, I’m stuck. I’m behind on bills, struggling to provide for my family, and without the resources to finish the Jeep build or pursue medical care for my back and diabetes.

The Jeep still needs tires, fixes for the death wobble, and some essential recovery gear that I’ve had to sell to make ends meet. Adding to the frustration, I outsourced work to two different shops that charged me thousands yet failed to deliver on their promises, leaving me with the same issues I initially had.

I’m at a point where I need to make a career change, one way or another. I’m actively applying for jobs—hoping for something like a service writer or manager role that lets me leverage my years of experience in the automotive industry without the physical strain. But until then, I need help to get back on my feet and take care of my family.

Here’s what I’m asking for:

Help completing my Jeep build so I can jump into off-road recovery and create a sustainable career.
Assistance with financial stability to keep our apartment and stay afloat after months with no income.
Support for medical care so I can finally address my back pain and other health issues.
I know this is a lot to ask, but I’ve always been someone who worked hard and never shied away from doing whatever it took to make things happen. Asking for help doesn’t come easy, but the alternative—working myself into further physical decline—is not an option.

Any donation, share, or positive thought sent our way means the world to me and my family. Every bit of support brings us closer to stability and a brighter future. I truly believe everything happens for a reason, even if I can’t see it right now. With determination and the kindness of others, I know we’ll get through this and come out stronger. Positive things are coming.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this, and for any help you can provide.
