Convoy to bring Ukrainian Refugees to Ireland
Donation protected
I am joining a group of volunteers who are driving from Ireland to Germany on September 2nd 2022 in order to bring 40 Ukrainian refugees to Ireland.
Why Drive?
Many Ukrainians fear flying and some also have loved family pets they wish to bring with them to their new homes. This is what we aim to facilitate this with our convoy of cars.
All drivers foot their own travelling costs. NONE of the money raised here will go towards my travel or accommodation. All funds are to help the refugees in their hours of extreme need.
We will depart Ireland early Friday September 2nd from Dublin to Holyhead Wales. From there down through England and across to France on the Eurotunnel and heading to Aalst in Belgium on Friday night.
From Aalst we then travel to Eschborn Germany Saturday early afternoon rendezvousing with refugees, Reims France Saturday evening overnight before the Sunday overnight Cherbourg ferry back to Rosslare Monday afternoon.
