Victoria Lipscomb needs further cancer treatment
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I am fundraising for the amazing Lipscomb family. My friend Victoria has been battling cancer since 2019 when she discovered she had an extremely rare cancer called a malignant Phyllodes tumor. At that time, she fought the cancer with a single mastectomy and radiation therapy. She was then cleared of cancer for the time being. In May 2023, she discovered the cancer was back in her lung. Surgery was scheduled very quickly to remove from her right lung. Since then, it has been a whirlwind of cancer metastasizing through her body, being removed from her brain and two fingers. She most recently completed ten rounds of radiation to shrink and stop a bleeding tumor in her stomach. This Malignant Phyllodes tumor is known to not respond well to chemotherapy.
The family is desperate to seek a treatment that will work in their favor. It was suggested that she go to Mexico for a functional medicine approach, which consists of being there for three weeks and would include several different types of metabolical treatments and low-dose chemotherapy. We want to help take the burden off the family to help pay for this treatment that insurance will not cover. Victoria is handling all of this very well, as she is strong in her faith and knows God is walking beside her. She has asked and would greatly appreciate everyone keeping her and her family in your prayers.
