Help Yaser Family Survive and Heal

Please read this as if you're a member of my family—perhaps my brother, father, or close friend—and imagine that your family, currently facing death, is also mine.

I am Yasser, a UX designer and graphic designer from Gaza. Before October 7th, my life was filled with beautiful memories. After my wedding, I had just finished renovating my home and moved in only five months ago. But on the second day of the war in Gaza, my life was turned upside down.

On that dark day, the company I worked for was bombed, causing me to lose my job and shatter my hopes for the future I was building. This wasn't the only damage; a nearby house was also targeted, causing my father and older sister, Shaimaa, to suffer retinal detachment. They are now completely blind as a result.

Amid this tragedy, my wife, who was pregnant, lost our baby due to the stress and trauma we endured. My sister Shaimaa managed to travel to Egypt for treatment and now faces a series of difficult surgeries. However, my father couldn't leave due to the occupation's control over the Rafah border crossing. He needs expensive coordination, costing $5,000, and he remains in Khan Younis, suffering from pain and helplessness.

My goal in creating this crowdfunding campaign is to support my remaining family members in Gaza, meet their basic needs for food and water, and contribute to the costs of Shaimaa's surgeries and treatment. I am asking for your support and help to get through this difficult ordeal and regain some of the hope we have lost.
