It Takes Courage Asking For Help At 67

A Compassionate Plea In The Face of Corporate Greed!
This Christmas feels profoundly different—my home is filled with packing boxes instead of the joy of holiday gifts. My world has been turned upside down by the corporate greed of my employer, a company that owns 15 luxurious assisted living homes, charging $10,000+ per resident each month. Despite this wealth, they have left me to face mounting financial hardship.
As an Activity Coordinator, I took immense pride in bringing joy, laughter, & a sense of connection to our dementia & alzheimer’s residents & their families. Tragically, I was severely injured after being attacked by residents in their care. Instead of offering support, my employer refused to accommodate my light-duty work restrictions for over a year, effectively barring me from returning to the job I loved.
This refusal has left me with no income beyond partial workers’ compensation, sinking me deeper into financial debt & leaving me facing eviction starting JAN 5. While they grow richer, I’ve been struggling to stay afloat, fighting for my health, my livelihood, and a chance to rebuild.
This holiday season, I humbly ask for your help. Your donation could be the lifeline that allows me to start over—a new chapter of hope & happiness for my family & I. Your kindness would mean more than words can express, lifting our spirits in a time of overwhelming hardship.
Thank you for opening your heart to my story & for helping us find a sense of love and care this season.
With gratitude,
