Bean’s Knee Surgery: Help This Pug Be Pain Free

Hi, I’m Bean’s mom, Kirbee, and I am raising funds to help with Bean’s knee surgery.

Bean is a 3 year old pug with a very rambunctious personality. She loves to run, wrestle, and cause shenanigans. She’s a ball of high energy!

But, Bean has a knee problem.

Bean’s back left knee has a severe platella luxation. This means she can no longer run and play like she used to. Her leg is in pain constantly, causing her to limp. If left untreated the platella luxation can cause serious damage to her knee joint.

To fix all of this, Bean needs surgery from a veterinary surgeon specialized in orthopedics.

Bean’s dad and I are doing everything we can to pay for it ourselves, but with the need for specialized care the surgery is more expensive than what we can afford. The surgery is estimated to cost around 5k, we can cover some of that ourselves, but need help with the rest. Your donation will go towards covering Beans medical costs.

Bean is young, only three, and she has so much life left to live. We don’t want her to have to deal with pain everyday. That’s why we decided to start this campaign, so Bean can run all she wants again. We appreciate any help you can give us.

Anything left over that doesn’t cover Beans surgery will be donated to the Whitman County Humane Society.
