Help for Kat ongoing support!

We need your help to get Kat home!

Kat is currently stuck in hospital in QLD and we need your help to get Kat to a hospital down on the Central Coast NSW.

If you weren’t aware, we decided to move back to NSW permanently.

The week of our move (3 weeks ago) Kat had an accident at Robina Shopping Center. As a result, she has severe peripheral nerve damage, amongst other complications.

Kat still can’t move her leg and hip is in a world of pain. This type of injury takes time to heal, so we don’t know how long Kat will need to be in hospital for. It could be months with rehab/physio.

We have been told by the NSW hospital, if a transfer from QLD to NSW was to happen the cost is around $10,000!!! Yes you read that right! It’s not covered by the public system unless it’s life threatening. Also the public hospital in QLD could start charging us $65.00 per day!! (If they put her under long stay maintenance patient)

We need Kat close to home! Im currently looking after our two kids, who both have special needs, unpacking a house and now can’t work as I’m a stay at home Dad.

Not being able to see their mum is hurting our kids. Kat not being around her kids and me is so stressful, she is be becoming an emotional wreck.

Kat is all alone in QLD with no family support, now it’s becoming harder mentally everyday.

Please help us cover any medical expense, transfer or hardship in this time.

Those who know me, know how hard it is for me to ask for help, but I really need your help to get through this.

Kat is home, yes!!! However the ongoing cost for walking Aid and other things that need to be paid for.
