A horrific war broke out in my home country , the day our lives profoundly altered. Millions of people were forced to flee their homes, leaving behind them their belongings, memories, and identities, they were forced to flee with tears in their eyes and a heavy heart. Thousands of people died in the conflict.

I am 22 years old by the name of Tasneem Midhat. Like many others, I was affected by this war. "I'm so proud of you, my dear daughter, and I'm eagerly awaiting your graduation day," my father said to me after we lost our house, my father lost his job, and all the savings he had been accumulating for us to provide a decent life and a good education. I was internally displaced two times, till now I have family members who are trapped in active war zones in Khartoum, in the midst of the telecommunications blackout, with no hope in sight for the war to terminate.

Being the oldest daughter, finishing school and supporting my family financially have always been my goals, but because of the conflict, I now see them as fading dreams.

In order to assist my family have a decent life in the future, I'm gathering money to help me leave the afflicted country and finish my studies in more stable circumstances. I'll be able to complete my last year while working part-time thanks to the money, which will be used to cover accommodation fees until I got on my feet and secure a job.

The money will be used to cover traveling expenses out of Sudan, about 1500 USD to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, renting a shared room and living expenses is about 1000 USD for the first 3 months, in this period I have people that I know in KSA who will help me find a job there.
