Help for Helen

I am a 57 year old single woman with end stage emphysema with a genetic aggravation. called Alph-1.   I  am on the list for a BILATERAL LUNG TRANSPLANT at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.  I am currently on Social Security. rreceiving 799.00 monthly.  My rent for a 1 bedroom apartment is 725.00; telephone bill 60.00 monthly; electricity is 140.00 a month, with 900.00 in arrears, no cable not a necessity.  I must have a phone so hospital can reach me if lungs are available and reach someone to drive me to hospital. I don't own a car and can not drive with medications I must take.  I live on oxygen. 24/7; use a bipap machine and nebulizer!  My oxygen compressor uses electricity the most. My electric was shut off in October for 2 days. My doctor had to sign a form saying I need electricity to live. However that is only good for 30 days. Authorization by a doctor is only allowed 3 times, I have used 2 already. iI have already gotten a shut off for this month. My over the counter and prescriptions I cant afford either. I hope someone can help me out and put me in the right direction! I am very anemic soo I have to go to the hospital for iron intravenously starting 11-10-14 twice a week. Thank God I have friends home during the day to take and pay for parking. Mysons are married and have their families. and really can't afford to help financially.   I am very fortunate for what I have and I believe with all my being that I will regain my health!!
