Help Madyson Pay For an Education!!!
Hi! My name is Madyson Miller. I decided to start this fund raiser after a lot of thought of how I was going to pay for school, coming from a low income family. I graduated highschool in June of 2023 and I have been accepted to Beloit College, an absolutely amazing Private school in my home town, Beloit, Wisconsin. I have been so extremely happy to be accepted to this school but most people from my home town, me included, could not ever imagine a way to pay for this dream school. I truly believe this is where I belong and where I will finally fit in.
I have successfully finished my first year at Beloit College, making it into the Dean's list. Without the help of YOUR donations, I am not sure if I would have made it. My next year starts in Fall of 2024 and I am doing everything I can to lower the costs for me to attend every year. This is my place.
I have stuggled immensely with mental health all throughout my schooling and have worked through unpleasant situations back to back for years. I have always worked so incredibly hard to get to where I am. I graduated with a 4.0 my senior year and in the top 5% of my class. I am an Honor's Student who also received the highest score possible on my Advanced Placement Art program. I am going to school to be an Art Teacher for passionate kids just like me, who need that form of escape. Kids like me who also struggle with mental health and find art as a way to express themselves or just find a little bit of peace. Kids like me who never had a lot of friends and connected the most with their teachers...
But financially, it has been really rough. My household can barely afford food at times, let alone my tuition.
I fell short of the funds I need to fulfill my first year tuition, even after an amazing scholarship and fasfa loans. To start my on my dream education, I am still required to pay roughly $3,500 out of my own pocket for my upcoming years. The fees and cost of books, and the money due is always changing when it comes to college and I am not financially capable of keeping up with it yet. $3,500 is a lot, but it is what I have to work with. I am asking for donations to help with this new start to my education. I have worked hard for a promising future and I am doing everything I can to make that future a reality for not only myself, but the kids I hope to teach <3
