Please Help Me, My Family, and Friends Out Financially

Hi, I'm Sarah.

I am an international student living in Germany. My friends told me to be more vulnerable about my situation to hopefully gain your trust and empathy to hear my story out.

I am from Iran and I am being financially supported by my parents since I am not legally permitted to work in Germany due to my visa conditions (Studienkolleg visa). My uni will start in Oct 2025 and until then, I will not be permitted to work. With the rapid decline of the value of the Iranian Rial (IRR), it is becoming much harder for them to support me since I obviously need euros...

Another thing that they have to take into account is of course paying their own bills, medical procedures (medicine, surgeries, etc.), helping their family out with their medical bills, etc. Sadly, there are no programs in Iran that helps their people and banks do not really give out loans either, so my parents are in a tough spot. So if I could get some help from you guys... it would at least lighten their load.

Why do I not just go back to Iran and study/work there?

As common and selfish as this may sound coming from an international student.... it's simply for the opportunity and access to higher education/better lifestyle that is available abroad. Let's say that right now it is not safe or good for me to go back home at my country's current state. I'm not sure if you guys are aware, but as a tl;dr, Iran is just not safe for women, young women, even little girls at all. Therefore, my parents are doing their absolute best so they can let me and my sister live better lives farrr away from Iran. I understand that I may sound selfish, but I truly want to stay here and start something for myself, my sister, and my friends who come from similar backgrounds. So if you could be so kind as to not just help me, but us out ... I would like to thank you in advance for your extreme generosity!
