Help my son Ronnie O'Neil was hit by wrong way driver

Hello my name is Sherry , on Aug 25th around midnight my son Ronald O'Neil was hit by a wrong way driver on I-8. The other driver died and Ronnie was taken to the hospital. It will be 2-4 months before we can find out anything for the other driver or if they had insurance and bills don't have a pause button. Cleo his dog was with him I am so grateful that she was unharmed other than the stress she is under from Ronnie not being home with her. Please any help is appreciated, even if it is $1 it adds up.

Ronnie was taken to Sharp Memorial hospital where they had to fuse three crushed vertebrae inserting rods and pins. In addition to he had to undergo an intensive ankle surgery; he now has rods/pins holding his ankle together to heal; follow up surgery is scheduled in three weeks.

My son is self-employed in construction. He is looking at approximately 4-6 months of recovery in which he will not be able to go back to work, and he is going to need assistance paying his monthly bills, medical bills, and cost of living. The road ahead will be difficult, but he is strong, and I know that he will push through with the support of loved ones.
