Help saving a christian school in Lebanon

Tannourine is a picturesque Lebanese Maronite Catholic village with roots going back to the Phoenicians. 

For the last 110 years, the only elementary school is that of the Immaculate Conception. 

With the current economic situation in Lebanon, families are loosing their means of living and revenue to sustain these schools has become near impossible.

After 110 years of giving and educating kids, the school is coming to a difficult decision to permanently shut down with great consequences:

- The school educates 90 kids that will have no more possibilities

- Families will be forced to migrate towards overcrowded cities 

- Families who don't have the mean to migrate will not be able to educate their children

- Teacher families that make their living from their salaries will loose their means.

All we're asking for is your help in sustaining this beautiful village, my ancestral village, to continue its way of living.

Lastly I invite you to go visit one day, the beautiful scenery, old churches, pre-historic monuments.
