My name is Stefanie, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for assistance. As a queer Latina small business owner, I have faced my fair share of challenges, but none as daunting as the situation I find myself in now.

I am in the process of divorcing my husband, and unfortunately, I am unable to afford legal representation. The circumstances surrounding our separation are deeply painful, as my husband's infidelity shattered the trust we once shared. Despite the emotional turmoil, what pains me the most is the fact that he now has custody of my beloved dog.

His family has provided him with legal support, leaving me in a position where communication is hindered unless I, too, have legal representation. However, the reality is that I simply do not have the financial means to secure the legal assistance necessary to navigate this complex and emotionally draining process.
