Single Mum of 3 Needs Car After Hit-and-Run

Hey, my name is Sarah. I want to start by saying this is so difficult for me to write but here goes. I am a mum of 3 beautiful children 2 girls (14&8) 1 boy (3) in June 2024 on the way back from taking the children to France on holiday my vehicle was hit by a lorry on the motorway. Luckily we were not hurt as the bump was minor, however it caused an engine failure in the vehicle leaving us stranded on the hard shoulder for in total 16 hours. My vehicle was written off as it required a new engine and the insurance refusing to acknowledge it was accident related leaving me without a car.

This has taken such a tole on us as a family as I have no ability to get my children to school (the attend 3 different schools due to their ages) and have to heavily rely on others. Aside from it taking my freedom its also affected me being able to attend my many hospital appointments as I'm currently awaiting a full stomach reconstruction meaning I've had to also leave my job. As I'm unable to work I have attempted to save up but with 3 children I have struggled so much! Which is why I have had to use this platform as a last resort. Without a car, getting my kids to school or me to doctor’s appointments is a nightmare—I’m stuck relying on favors or expensive rides.

I don't want a new vehicle just something reliable to be able to safely drive my children where they need to be.
