Help Teddy out

Hi my name is Nancy, 22, and this is Teddy(2)! Teddy and I recently moved to NYC to pursue my masters in teaching. Teddy is a super friendly but also very sassy. She was on a leash and we were going on a walk during lunch when my the wind blew my umbrella inside out and she got spooked! She put some distance between her and the umbrella and ran into the street where she got hit by a car. I immediately rushed her to the ER. They did a full body X-ray and, thankfully, her heart is stable but she broke her pelvic in two different spots. 

She is currently being monitored in the ICU and will be there for a couple of days. She will be reevaluated in the next week or two to see what is the best course will be. It breaks my heart to see Teddy in the ICU. She is such an amazing dog. She always runs and jumps on me when I come home. I take her everywhere with her little backpack. We literally do everything together.
