Help the TRANZAC Rebuild · Bar Renovations

In March 2020, the Tranzac, like other venues in the city, had to close its doors to the public. We reopened early in 2022.

While we were closed, we had the opportunity to tackle some long-overdue upgrades to the building. In the course of doing that, we uncovered other issues that required repair, renovation, or outright replacement, most critically our beverage service areas. This meant that, in addition to the financial stress of our pandemic-related closure, we had $51,000 in additional costs to cover in order to completely rebuild the bars in our Main Hall and Southern Cross lounge, an expense which could not be recovered through grants or other emergency pandemic funding

The Tranzac community came through with generous donations when we launched this fundraising campaign. As of December 8, 2022 we are at $34,200, 67% of our goal!
