Help Wendy Keep Her Apartment

20 years. That's how long our friend Wendy (or those of us who know her on Tik Tok as Stinky Pinky) has lived in her apartment. 20 years of memories, meals, and familiar nights' sleep, in one place. It's her home.

That home is what Wendy is in danger of losing.

You see, Wendy was recently diagnosed with Neuropathy, a condition in which you lose sensations in your extremities. But Wendy didn't let that stop her from doing her job working at a memory care unit at a nursing home. That was until she fell, resulting in a fracture in her leg. After spending a month in the hospital, and another month and a half at home to do physical therapy, Wendy wasn't able to work.

Wendy was able to get herself back to shape physically to go back to work on June 2nd. However, the time away from work caused her to become behind on her rent. And even though her landlord said they wouldn't come after her for the back rent, on the 21st of June, she found herself in court facing eviction.

This GoFundMe is to save Wendy from that eviction. To help her catch up on the past due rent and keep her in the home she has known for 20 years.

Wendy was someone I met through the app Tik Tok. She is a fantastic person with an amazing heart who wants to make people smile and laugh, even when struggling in her life.
