Help Bre Get a Head Start!

Hi, my name is Keena! Two months ago, I walked into the women and children's shelter to volunteer and serve dinner for two hours with my church. Little did I know, I would walk out of the shelter with a new friend. Her name is Brenda Walker known as Bre. She is an amazing mother to three beautiful little girls who came to Charlotte, NC for a better life.

Currently, life has pitched a couple of curve balls. She is blessed and thankful to have a part-time job at the diner but it is not enough to get her where she needs to be financially. Recently, her car was repossessed and her two oldest girls lost their beds at the shelter. She is now seeking shelter for her three children and herself, on top of managing getting her car back so she can keep her job.

Surprisingly, Bre has not let this break her spirit. She is still hopeful that there is a reason she is going through this struggle and this is a temporary hurdle. I want to do my part by fulfilling her hope through the grace of God. I want to be the support that she needs right now since she has no family or friends in Charlotte. I want to show her that a spirit like hers- deserves to be recognized!

I am starting this fundraiser to help Bre get her car back so she will not lose her job. I figured it is a good place to start. She is so deserving and she did not ask for help but I know she needs it. Any donation helps! Help Bre and her girls build their new life here in Charlotte and get a head start!
