Hello, I am Davit from Armenia. About two months ago I became one of the happiest students after being admitted to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. (admission letter is attached)

A little about me - I study excellently at school․ I am a volunteer in several non-governmental organizations, such as Wikimedia Armenia, 17.am, Sevan Youth Club, and so on.

I am a participant-alumni of the UN Development program’s “I am the Community”, as well as I am a graduate of the EducationUSA Armenia's Competitive College Club which is part of the US Department of State.

Also, I attended a Young Diplomats School organized by the Eurasia International University, where I was able to develop and gain new skills about diplomacy, international affairs, and political science.

In addition, I'm actively involved in the development of community life and in other competitions, as well.

I have been awarded certificates from well-known international universities, such as the University of Pennsylvania, Duke University, University of Virginia, and the University of Toronto. (some certificates are attached at the end)

The university and future major - The University of Minnesota Twin Cities is one of the best 50 universities in the world by Shanghai Ranking. According to the 2019 - 2020 data, it has 51,327 students. According to Forbes magazine, it is the best public university in the state of Minnesota and one of the best employer universities.

The university has had many outstanding alumni, including Nobel Prize winners, US Vice Presidents, as well as high-ranking officials of other nations and scientists who have made great achievements in the field of science. Almost 7.4 percent of the students are international students from around 108 countries.

Now in Armenia, I am studying in 12th grade in high school, and after graduation, I hope to find funds to pay tuition, get a deferral from the army, and go to Minneapolis to study. In the U of M, I have been admitted to the College of Liberal Arts in major Political Science. After getting my Bachelor՛s degree I am going to attend Law school.

Studying Political Science and Law at one of the best universities in the world, I can contribute not only to my native country but also to the world civilization, becoming a part of the world society. These professions will give me the opportunity to contribute to the development of peace and stability in the world.

After being a qualified Lawyer, and returning to the homeland, I will invest all gained knowledge and experience into the development of Armenia. I will try to have a more legal and equal society, which is one of the pillars of a powerful country.

Financial Aid - Unfortunately, the U of M does not provide 100 percent financial assistance to international students, and some part should pay students themselves.

The money will go towards living expenses, books, mandatory medical insurance, laptop cost, visa and SEVIS fees, and an airplane ticket.

*Tuition & Fees (full academic year or two semesters) 34,986 US dollars
*Living expenses and books - 18,019 US dollars
*Mandatory medical insurance (required by university and law) - 2,796 US dollars
*Visa, SEVIS, airplane ticket, and laptop - 2,200 US dollars
 
I have been awarded a Global Excellence Scholarship worth 60.000 dollars over four years. That is 15.000 dollars per year. 
In addition, I have  $ 7.833 from another source.

I need financial support for all these. You can be one of the special people who will help me start this journey. With your every donation you will play an unchangeable and huge role in my education and future life. Ողջույն, ես Դավիթն եմ Հայաստանից: Գրեթե երկու ամիս առաջ դարձա այն երջանիկներից մեկը, ով կարողացել է ընդունվել ԱՄՆ-ում գտնվող University of Minnesota Twin Cities  համալսարանը։ (ընդունելության նամակը կցված է)

Ձեռքբերումներ - Դպրոցում սովորում եմ գերազանց։ Կամավոր եմ Վիքիմեդիա Հայաստանում, 17 ․am-ում, Սևան Երիտասարդական ակումբում և այլ ՀԿ-ներում։ ՄԱԿ-ի Զարգացման ծրագրերի՝ «Համայնքը Ես եմ»-ի անդամ-շրջանավարտ եմ, ինչպես նաև ԱՄՆ Պետդեպարտամենտի մաս հանդիսացող EducationUSA Armenian-ի Մրցունակ աշակերտների ակումբի շրջանավարտ։ Նաև հաճախել եմ Եվրասիա միջազգային համալսարանի «Պատանի դիվանագետի դպրոց»-ը։

Ակտիվ ներգրավված եմ համայնքային կյանքի զարգացմանը։

Արժանացել եմ սերտիֆիկատների համաշխարհային ճանաչում ունեցող՝ University of Pennsylvania, Duke University, University of Virginia և University of Toronto համալսարանների կողմից։ (մի մասի սերտիֆիկատները կցված են վերջում)

Համալսարան և մասնագիտություն - Մինեսոտայի համալսարանը ըստ Շանհայի վարկանիշի (Shanghai ranking) աշխարհի լավագույն հիսուն համալսարաններից մեկն է։ Ըստ 2019 - 2020 թվականների տվյալների ուսանողների թիվը կազմել է 51․327 ուսանող։ Ըստ Forbes համաշխարհային ամսագրի հանդիսանում է Մինեսոտա նահանգի լավագույն պետական և լավագույներից մեկը գործատու համալսարանների շարքում։

Համալսարանը ունեցել է բազմաթիվ նշանավոր շրջանավարտներ, որոնք եղել են Նոբելյան մրցանակի դափնեկիրներ, ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահներ, ինչպես նաև այլ ազգի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներ և գիտական ոլորտում մեծ նվաճումների հասած գիտաշխատողներ։

Ուսանողների շուրջ 7․4 տոկոսը կազմում են միջազգային ուսանողները՝ 108 երկրներից։

Սովորելով քաղաքագիտություն և իրավաբանություն աշխարհի լավագույն համալսարաններից մեկում՝ կարող եմ իմ ներդրումը ունենալ ոչ միայն հայրենի երկրի համար, այլ նաև համաշխարհային քաղաքակրթության մեջ՝ դառնալով համաշխարհային հասարակության մի մասնիկը։ Այս մասնագիտությունները ինձ հնարավորություն կտան ունենալ իմ ներդրումը համաշխարհային խաղաղության և կայունության զարգացման մեջ։ Ինչպես նաև բացահայտել մեր երկրի համար ապագա գործընկերների։

Իրավաբանի որակավորում ստանալուց հետո՝ հայրենիք վերադառնալով ձեռք բերված գիտելիքն ու փորձը ներդնելու եմ ի շահ Հայաստանի զարգացման, փորձելով ունենալ ավելի իրավագիտակից և իրավահավասար հասարակություն, որը հզոր պետության հիմնասյուներից մեկն է։ 

Ֆինանսական աջակցություն - Ցավոք համալսարանը ամբողջությամբ չի հոգում միջազգային ուսանողների ծախսերը, և մի մասը պետք է հոգա ուսանողը։ GoFundMe-ի էջում նշված գումարի սահմանաչափը իր մեջ ներառում է հետևյալը ՝

*Ուսման վարձը (ամբողջ ակադեմիական տարվա համար) 34,986 ԱՄՆ դոլար
*Կեցության ծախսեր և գրքեր - 18,019 ԱՄՆ դոլար

Համալսարանի կողմից արժանացել եմ Համաշխարհային Գերազանցության կրթաթոշակի (The Global Excellence Scholarship) այն է ՝ 15․000 դոլար յուրաքանչյուր տարվա համար։ Այսինքն ընդհանուր առմամբ համալսարանից ստացել եմ $ 60․000 կրթաթոշակ, որը կարող եմ, և պարտավոր եմ օգտագործել ուսմանս բոլոր չորս տարիների համար՝ յուրաքանչյուր տարի 15․000 դոլարի չափով։ Ինչպես նաև ստացել եմ 7․833 դոլար այլ աղբյուրից։ 

Այս ամենի համար ինձ անհրաժեշտ է ֆինանսական աջակցություն, և հենց Դուք կարող եք լինել այն եզակիները, ովքեր կարող են ինձ օգնել շարժվել մեկ քայլ առաջ և հաղթահարել այս փուլը։
