Help a Diabetic Amputee
Donation protected
THE STORY: In the Summer of 1999, Debora Kellams suffered a severe diabetic stroke, almost completely paralyzing the entire left side of her body. Throughout the years since this terrible incident, matters with her health have only grown significantly worse. Several blood clots in her left leg over the years lead to a mandatory amputation above the knee. Due to her health issues and physical condition, this made walking for her impossible, even with a prosthetic. Now, Debora is suffering severe memory loss due to clogged arteries and vessels leading up to and inside her brain. There is no telling how much time Debora has left. Surgeries are beginning to be more of a risk rather than a help. Througout all of these issues, she still manages to keep moving forward, holding her head high. Even with these unfortunate circumstances, she does her best to live a day at a time.
WHAT WE WANT TO DO: Debora's entire life is a constant health battle. We want to change that and make her life a little easier, any way possible.
WHAT WE ASK FROM YOU: Representing as Debora's only child, I ask that you help in any way that you can. Considering that I help pay all bills & expenses for my parents, I simply cannot afford to do this on my own. My mother's health is not good and only grows worse by the day. I want to make her life easier, any way possible. ANY LITTLE BIT will help.
