The Dr. Mike Fund
Donation protected
Two years ago my best friend Mike Kirshbaum ("Dr. Mike") was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer. Since then, he has been in the fight of his life, going through testing, chemotherapy treatments, radiation and more. And he has fought each and every day. His wife Jeanine and their two children, Jaclyn and Dylan, have been at his side to fight with him.
And I'm fighting too.
Because that's what best friends do.
A little over a year ago I rode in a 100 mile bike tour to help raise money for Dr. Mike and his mounting medical bills. And it helped. But as many of you know, medical treatments for an illness like cancer can cost in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
So I'm ASKING YOU AGAIN to help my friend.
Here's how:
I will be riding another 100 mile bike tour on September 13, 2015. My goal is to raise $10,000 for this ride. That's $100 per mile, $1000 for every 10 miles...you GET THE MATH! Every dollar will help.
Whatever amount you can give...$20 (that's 1/5 of a mile, BTW).
I know I've asked you to donate before...but this time it's REALLY IMPORTANT.
So give what you can and know that Dr. Mike and his family are so very grateful. And so am I. Because the world is a BETTER PLACE with my friend Mike in it.

And I'm fighting too.
