Please Help Eric Save & Rebuild His Home
Eric Katz, a 30-year-old paraplegic, Toms River, NJ resident, University of Arizona Alum, whose profession is to build and create artificial limbs for amputees, lost his home and everything he owned. On October 29, 2012 Hurricane Sandy entered his home, uninvited. She took it from him 2-weeks after a 4-year self-renovation, which enabled him to live a life of independence. With FEMA's newly proposed Flood Zone Maps, people with disabilities were not accounted for (ie. wheelchair ramps and accessibility). Since none of the damages were covered by insurance, Eric will be unable to afford the cost to rebuild and raise his home to the new elevations required. Eric has dedicated his life to helping others and now it is our time to help him. The donations made to this page will go directly to Eric. If you would like to connect with him, please feel free send him a message via Facebook @HelpEric Katz or @ericbkatz. Thank you and please share this page!
