Renee's Angels

Our friend Renee is fighting for her life!  Her battle is stage 4 ovarian cancer.  After 9 months of strange symptoms, believed to be a form of breast cancer, she was finally diagnosed with ovarian cancer.   Just a few short weeks ago, she underwent a surgery to remove cancerous tissue from her abdomen.  Her wonderful doctor is quite optimistic telling Renee that she will never be able to cure the cancer but that she can live with it.

Renee is a single mother to an amazingly talented 16 year old daughter, Emily.  Her mother Barbara is there as well, helping Renee as much as she can along this journey.  Believe it or not, Renee served in the military during Desert Storm, working on B-52 bombers.  Due to surgery and treatments, Renee has had to take a leave from her beloved job.  Her return to work is unknown at this time due to the extensive treatment and surgeries that she is undergoing. 

Renee always walks with Our Lord therefore; she is always kind, meek, patient, loving, and humble.  Renee is strong mentally, physically, and most of all spiritually.  Her smile and joy are infectious!  Those of you, who have the pleasure to know her, know what a beautiful person she is inside and out.  She wants everyone to be happy and if you aren't, she does whatever she can to "Make It Happen".   She continues to glow even as she is carrying this heavy cross.  What an amazing woman...holding strong for everyone.

Thank goodness for her insurance and VA benefits...but out of pocket medical and living expenses are mounting quickly.  She can't come close to covering these expenses as well as provide for a teenage daughter.
We are asking for the kindness and generosity of friends and family to help.  If you can afford to donate any amount, she will be extremely grateful and appreciative.  Let's be her angels during this time since she has been that to others for so long.
