Kyle joins the Screen Actors Guild

Hello!
Thank you for coming to my "GoFundMe"! To make this simple, I'm going to break it down what it is for, then leave one of my favorite quotes which I feel explains the purpose so beautifully and perfectly.
I've recently reached a point in my career where I am at the crossroads to join the Screen Actors Guild Union. Early this year I received the invitation to join on a principle actors contract. Per many people's advice, it is said not to join until the right time, or as I see it, the universe says its time.
One of my life long friends, Natalie, is involved with a small, but respected, production company. I've seen things her producers have put up, I know they are hard workers, I know the work they create is good, and I know the work they put out gets seen.
I was offered a wonderful role in a short film to this company and I just LOVE the script. I can feel it in my soul, and hear it in my voice when I talk about it. In order to be a part of this low-budget film I must be in The Screen Actors Guild. Production is already maxed with their budget and I truly believe in this project.
Having your support on this would be a dream come true! Thank you for your support!
Love, Light, Happiness, and Creativity,
Kyle Shepard
“Actors are some of the most driven, people on the face of the earth. They deal with more day-to-day rejection in one year than most people do in a lifetime. Every day, actors face the financial challenge of living a freelance lifestyle, the disrespect of people who think they should get real jobs, and their own fear that they'll never work again. Every day, they have to ignore the possibility that the vision they have dedicated their lives to is a pipe dream. With every role, they stretch themselves, emotionally and physically, risking criticism and judgment. With every passing year, many of them watch as the other people their age achieve the predictable milestones of normal life -the car, the family, the house, the nest egg. Why? Because actors are willing to give their entire lives to a moment - to that line, that laugh, that gesture, or that interpretation that will stir the audience's soul. Actors are beings who have tasted life's nectar in that crystal moment when they poured out their creative spirit and touched another's heart. In that instant, they were as close to magic, God, and perfection as anyone could ever be. And in their own hearts, they know that to dedicate oneself to that moment is worth a thousand lifetimes.”-David Ackert, LA Times
