Help Mahmoud's Family Survive Gaza

Hello, my name is Mahmoud from the wounded Gaza Strip. From shattered Gaza. I am from Khan Yunis, the city of resilience, the city of love and life, the city of dreams and reality that has now become a city of rubble and destruction, a city of memories, a city of sorrow and grief. I am 23 years old and bear the responsibility of caring for 8 people in addition to my parents.

This is my story since October 7th. We were asked to evacuate our beautiful home under a barrage of heavy shelling and phosphorus bombs. We barely escaped with our lives, leaving behind everything we owned. We did not know it would be impossible to return to our home, nor did we realize that our home would turn into a pile of stones and ashes. We never imagined that everything we owned would disappear in the blink of an eye.

Since that day, we are bodies without souls, living in a tent that does not protect us from the harsh winter cold, the heavy winter rains, or the scorching summer heat.

These fabrics do not have the ability to protect us from random rockets, stray bullets, or tank shells that rob us of our lives and dreams.

The only certainty in Gaza is death, either from bombing or hunger. Now, after much thought, I have decided to leave Gaza with my family to preserve their lives, ambitions, and dreams, and to build a new future filled with peace and safety away from fear.
