Hello, our names are Silas Shelton, Sidney Shelton, Michelle Engel, Shea Shelton, Shawn Shelton, Easton Engel, Jordan Shelton, and Liam Shelton. We are Sons, a Daughter, and Grand Kids of the most wonderful mother and Mimi in the world; Melinda Anderson.

Melinda has been fighting Multiple Myeloma cancer now for 3 years! She has been going through daily Chemotherapy and steroids off and on ever since, which has taken their toll on her body, mind, and stamina.

She was accepted for a transplant in Dallas 2 years ago, but the COVID pandemic canceled it right when her cancer cells had dropped low enough for the transplant to be successful. For the past two years, while waiting for COVID restrictions to lift, her numbers went back up and she has, up to this point, been required to continue the energy-depleting Chemo and Steroids as a means of cancer management. By God’s mercy, she has been accepted again for a Transplant!! It is scheduled for Christmas Day! What a wonderful blessed Christmas gift!!

She will be at Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas for 4 or more weeks for the transplant. Then she will be required to stay in seclusion for a month in a hotel or rented location close to the hospital. She has Medicare and it allows for the transplant, but NOT for the housing or the loss of self-employed income over the last two years or the future loss of income due to Neal and Melinda needing to be 125 miles away from work, secluded from others for health reasons.

God has been blessing them through this process financially, but they will need additional financial blessings from family and friends to cover the month or so of lodging and accumulated bills due to loss of income. Prayers are always welcomed! Melinda Told me: "I’m nervous but excited and so thankful to the Lord for this second chance. Blessings to all in Christ’s Name!"
