Nancy Ware is fighting to survive!

We're campaigning on behalf of our wonderful mother, Nancy Ware, who has been diagnosed with NASH, non-alcoholic Cirrhosis of the liver, and needs a transplant as she is in end stage liver failure.
She has been suffering from symptoms associated with cirrhosis of the liver, including jaundice, buildup of fluid in the abdomen, and reduced brain function. Other symptoms she is struggling with are muscle cramps, trouble sleeping at night, fatigue, and decreased appetite. At this time, she is forced to have the fluid drained through paracentesis every week.
What we are praying for is that her MELD (Model for End-stage Liver Disease) score will be high enough to get her on a transplant waiting list soon so that her suffering can stop. Once her MELD score is high enough, she can begin to seek treatment for a full liver transplant.
Medicare will handle most of the medical expenses at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, where there are more donors, and she will have a better chance of receiving a liver. We don't know why, but there are fewer donors in the Western States so we're hopeful we'll find a donor over there. However, the move to Louisiana will be made only after we have submitted her medical records for review at Oschner and this is one of the things we are raising money for.
The extra chance at a transplant will cost more in travel and for testing. Mom will also need lodging while waiting for a liver and follow-up of at least two months and the household Social Security checks will not be enough.
Our Mom is just 67 years old and we hate the thought of losing her to a disease she has through no fault of her own other than genetics.
From her children: Traci, Carie, Jamie, and Brandon, please find it in your heart to contribute to her Go Fund Me Account.
