Help Granny Rebuild After Flood

Donation protected
Today, June 14 2022, historic flooding in Roscoe MT left our 83 yr. old widowed Grandmother with nothing. She had to be pulled away as her home flooded with only the clothes on her back. Everything is gone. Her home, her pictures, our late grandfathers things  - all gone. 60+ years of a life built in that home, literally washed away into the flooding river leaving nothing but rubble behind. Like most in this humble town, Granny did not have flood insurance so none of the loss is covered and we are desperately trying to help her start over. A women who has dedicated her life to helping others, to kindness and community, should not fear what the future holds. She deserves safety, and comfort, and a place to call home. If its in your heart to do so - please help us help her. Any contribution is truly appreciated. We thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts, for your support. ❤️
♡♡♡Jeanette's Story ♡♡♡
Jeanette and her late husband, Donny, an Army veteran and retired rancher, bought the land in 1956. And for the next 50+ years they happily and humbly raised 3 children and many grandchildren until Donny’s death in 2012. Just two years prior, they decided to use a large portion of their retirement to build their dream home. Donny worked so hard on it and it was beautiful. This home meant everything to Jeanette, second only to her family and friends. She continued to cherish every moment spent in this home, whether it was grandkids for holidays or entertaining friends from the neighborhood and local church. This was her dream, her retirement, and her safe place filled with more memories than I could even begin to imagine. But now it’s gone and nothing but the memories remain.

You never think it’ll come to this. You never think you'll be crowd-funding to help your Grandmother simply have place of her own to call home. Perhaps it’s naïve but you never think these terrible disasters will take everything, especially from someone so caring and deserving of all things good in this world.

So here we are, hoping to provide her some relief in whatever way we can. We've seen crowd-funding work. We've heard stories of people coming together to help those who really need it. We've seen even the smallest contributions add up to bring about such a positive impact in the life of someone in need.

We hope, by reaching out to all of you, this financial burden weighing so heavily on her can be somewhat alleviated. We hope she can focus on all the beautiful memories she still has, that no disaster can ever take away.

Please consider donating to support Jeanette and alleviate some of the stress she does not deserve to endure. There is no contribution too small to make an impact, truly every penny counts and is appreciated more than words can express.

This fundraiser is written on behalf of my husband, Jeff Pearson, Jeanette’s grandson. Every donation will go directly to Jeanette.
