Please help my dad Scott in his fight with cancer.

Hi all, my name is Jordan Siegel, and my father Scott Siegel was recently diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. It has been a complete shock to my entire family and has been very hard to grasp that this is a new reality for myself and family. I know my dad is a fighter and is doing his best to accept this as the new norm per se; and my mother Martha is and has been in his corner and by his side from day 1. She drives him to all of his doctor and chemo appointments. Cooks, cleans, and takes care of all of his needs on a daily basis.
With my older brother Josh living out in LA with his family, and myself living in Lincoln, Nebraska, it has been hard to be there to help and support them both on this hard road to a god willing recovery.
I know that the friends and family that know my dad and family, know that we all love him very much and only want him to beat this and live a happy, healthy life. One of Scott’s favorite things to tell me and my brother, is to “do the right things in life and live happy and healthy.” We try to live by that for him.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this and we as a family appreciate anything that you be may help with in regards to my dads medical expenses and we hope after an abundance of chemo and radiation that the surgery will be able to remove the cancer. As we know, this type of cancer is very aggressive and hard to beat, but with everyone’s help there is hope. God does have a plan and I don’t believe that this is it for him.
I’ll continue to update as more information becomes available from the doctors and my mother Martha. Please keep Scott in your prayers.
Donations will be used to assist with my dad’s overall medical expenses from the chemo and white blood cell shots he needs after each round in the hospital; to the multiple hospital stays he has had to endure since being diagnosed. Insurance definitely doesn’t cover the plethora of tests and procedures needed to try and get everything figured out to treat. Then we hope they can perform the Whipple surgery should the tumor shrink small enough to do so.
please see below some of the pictures of my dad as a young man, and how wonderful of a family we have. He’s really was part of the glue that keeps us all together.
