Help Scott & Erin while Scott heals.

I don’t even know where to start….if you know me, you know I’m the one that always gives, I’m the one that always helps, but right now we find ourselves in a position we’ve never been in, we are the ones in need.

My husband Scott contracted a highly resistant form of EColi in wound on his foot. He had surgery to remove his toe and clean the wound that was infected, his prognosis is good and normally we would be fine. However the copays and everyday bills are too much with only my income . He is unable to work while he heals and he is receiving at home antibiotics via IV everyday for the next 6 weeks. The antibiotics are a daily high tier copay, his Cobra insurance premium is astronomical and he has 2-3 copay’s for specialty doctors visits a week; all of this adds up to $1200+ a week in additional expenses and all of it is due immediately!! I can’t even “pay later” or be on a pay plan. Add those costs on top of our normal expenses and we are quick sinking ship.

The last 3 years haven’t been the easiest, 3 hospital stays. 3 surgeries, and our savings is now gone. The mental part of this is wearing me down but I’m trying to keep my head up and be in good spirits for him so he doesn’t have to worry. In all honesty I’m scared of losing everything and I’m sick to my stomach that it’s come to this. But here we are, I need your help, I need my friends to lift us up in prayer, I need my brain to stop worrying and concentrate solely on him, work and the charity I run.
