Help Support Alyssa to Get Back on Her Feet

Dear friends and family,

The Fuller family needs your help to get Alyssa back to the States for surgery!

After overcoming a shattered kneecap earlier this year, she was dealt another devastating blow on the first day of her honeymoon in Mexico. Monday, Alyssa slipped by the pool, dislocating her ankle, breaking her leg in three places, and fracturing her wrist.

Being outside the US and in Mexico, has made this scary situation exponentially more difficult to navigate and the financial burden of hospitalization is multiplied by the fact that it isn’t covered by insurance. The hospital has already had them charge over $34,000 for the ambulance, ER visit, hospital stay, and special medical air transportation to a hospital in the US for treatment. Every credit card is maxed out now. We desperately need your help! I am going to deposit their wedding money for a new backyard into their account so that they can stay in the hospital today!!

Additionally, as a contract worker, unfortunately Alyssa is not eligible for any paid vacation time or short term disability coverage — making the financial burden that much more difficult to manage without a paycheck coming in until her wrist is healed enough to return to work as a graphic designer.

No matter the size, we know your generous contribution will be an important stepping stone to help Alyssa and Jeremy, and their families through this challenging honeymoon period and relieve some of the looming financial strains as she works to heal and get back up on her feet again.
