Donation protected
Dear World,
*****************************
please read below!
Hello my friends,
I am reaching out to you again hoping that you can help me with my new campaign, I think that’s important to know that I lost approximately half of your donations due bank issues and some of you already knows about the issues, and I paid the other half of donations to Hala company in order to cross the borders and made it to Egypt , honestly here in Egypt we are safe but we cannot have a job because the government doesn’t allow us to have a residency card so we are stuck here, we are trying everything to secure our rent, food, bills, etc.
I hope you understand me and every single amount of money make a difference for us.
Thank you
Fadwa

*****************************

My name is Fadwa Shaheen, a 30-years-old Palestinian, I’m married, I’m a mother of 2 years old child, I find myself in an urgent and dire situation in Gaza. The ongoing conflict has created an unimaginable and unsafe environment for me and my family. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart, seeking your support to help us evacuate and find safety.

I am a resident of Gaza Strip, and the escalating violence has made it increasingly difficult for my family and me to lead a normal life. Our house and neighborhood have been completely destroyed, leaving us displaced and without a place to call home. This devastation has not only robbed us of our possessions but also the precious memories of our two-year-old daughter.

Me, and Baby Hala - my 2 year old daughter.
my daughter who has witnessed multiple wars since her birth in 2021. It is undoubtedly a heartbreaking situation, and it emphasizes the urgent need for a safer and more stable environment for her.

my daughter, deserves to live in peace and safety, free from the traumas of conflict. Her right to a happy and secure childhood should be a universal priority. my plea for help not only highlights the immediate need for evacuation but also underscores the broader importance of creating a world where children everywhere can grow up without the constant threat of violence.

on October 13, the escalation of hostilities and subsequent Israeli military directives forced my family and me into multiple relocations, resulting in the loss of our home and displacement from the north to the south of Gaza. Each move has been marked by life-threatening experiences and heart-wrenching losses in our community.

With each passing day, the situation is becoming more perilous. the uncertainty of the future weighs heavily on our hearts. We have made the difficult decision to seek refuge outside of Gaza for the safety and well-being of our family, and as turned out there is no safe place no matter wherever we go the airstrikes follow us.

Adding to the turmoil, my husband and I have lost our jobs due to the destruction, leaving us without any means to support ourselves. Each day brings the threat of death and starvation, with no safe haven in sight.

We are desperately seeking financial assistance to evacuate from the dangerous situation in Gaza. Our immediate goal is to flees to a safe place for our family, away from the ongoing conflict, where we can begin the process of rebuilding our shattered lives. The funds will be used for essential needs such as temporary housing, food, medical care, and for urgent travel through the Rafah border crossing to Egypt, requiring a hefty $8,000 travel fee per individual.

I am reaching out to you, dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers, to ask for your support in funding our evacuation. The funds raised will be used to cover transportation costs, temporary shelter, and basic necessities for our family until we can establish a more stable situation.

Here's a breakdown of the estimated costs:

-Passport fees: 120 euro per person (a total of 360 euro for three family members).
-Evacuation Fee/Egyptian Coordination: 11000 euro per adult person and 8000 for one child (Considering current evacuation fees and coordination expenses at the Egyptian border).
-Visa application fees: 250 euro per person ( a total of 750 euro for three family members)
-Transportation to Rafah Crossing: 1000 euro.
-Flight from Cairo to destination "One way" : 500 euro per person. ( a total of 1500 euro for three family members).
-GoFundMe Fee: 750 euro (Approximately 2.9% of each donation, covering the platform’s fee).
-And some extra living costs for couple of months.

Your support, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in helping us escape the cycle of violence and uncertainty. By contributing to this campaign, you are providing a lifeline for my family to rebuild, heal, and start anew.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering our plea. Your kindness and generosity will make a profound difference in our lives.

With gratitude, Fadwa Shaheen.
