Helping Debbie Beat Cancer

Hi, my name is Ben Meinjohans, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my aunt, Debbie Howell.

Debbie’s had a really difficult couple of months. She has been undergoing multiple surgeries and treatments for breast cancer and a follow up infection.

On her way to an oncology appointment last week, she was in a car wreck which resulted in her having fractured ribs, a fractured spine, and a totaled car. After a couple days in the hospital and back surgery, she is back at home resting and recovering.

Even though she’s dealt with setbacks and hardships over the past year, she’s still such a positive, strong person. If you know Debbie, you know how incredibly kind and giving she is. What I’d like to accomplish with this fundraiser is simply to ease the financial burden that Debbie and her husband Charles are going through right now. I’m hoping this fund will cover medical bills and the urgent need to get a new car to get to all of her appointments, as well as get both Debbie and Charles to work.
