Helping the Rowlett Family Rebuild
Donation protected
In August 2022, Eldon Rowlett, NMC Cat's Omaha Truck Manager of Service and his family had the devastating experience of a house fire, resulting in the loss of their 2 dogs. Thankfully, no one else was injured. The damage to their home, however, was significant: loss of the first floor, smoke damage throughout the entire house, water damage to the basement, and the loss of many of their possessions. They are currently staying with family while the restoration process is underway. They do not expect their home to be ready for at least 9 months.
We would like to come alongside to help the Rowlett Family as they begin the journey of restoration and replacing some of their losses.
A Go Fund Me page has been established to raise the much-needed finances to help them along. NMC will match each NMC employee’s donation dollar-for-dollar to a maximum of $5,000.
Donations may be accepted starting today and will remain available at least until the $5,000 goal is hit.
We appreciate that many of you will want to donate furniture or other items. Given that storage will currently be an issue for the family, we would like to donate monetarily - at least for now!
We sincerely appreciate your help in bringing some relief to Eldon and his family during this difficult time.
