Help us Rescue the Rescue!

In a critical development, Street Paws, a prominent animal rescue organization serving Metro Atlanta, is urgently seeking a new location to continue their life-saving work.

The current facility that Street Paws has been operating from is no longer available, placing the welfare of countless animals at risk. The organization is making a heartfelt appeal to the community, local businesses, and individuals who share their passion for animal welfare to assist in securing a new suitable location.

Street Paws has been at the forefront of animal rescue efforts for ten years and has successfully provided shelter, medical care, and rehoming opportunities for hundreds of abandoned, abused, and neglected animals. Their dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to ensure the well-being and future of these innocent creatures.

Finding a new facility is crucial to enable Street Paws to continue its vital mission and save countless animal lives. The ideal location should meet specific criteria, including ample space for animal housing, quarantine areas, medical area, and administrative office.

The organization is actively exploring all options and welcomes any leads or support from the community. Donations, both monetary and in-kind, are urgently needed to facilitate the relocation process, cover moving expenses, and ensure a seamless transition for the rescued animals.

Kristi Butler, spokesperson for Street Paws, stated, “We are facing an unprecedented situation and are in desperate need of a new facility to safeguard the animals in our care. Time is of the essence, and we implore the community to rally behind us in this urgent endeavor. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of these innocent animals.”

Those interested in supporting Street Paws and contributing to their relocation efforts are encouraged to visit their website at www.streetpaws.org. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable animals and provide them with a second chance at a happy and loving home.

We house seven cats and one feral dog in our office. We have two 40-foot ocean containers that store our food and supplies, a 6 ft enclosed trailer, and supplies in an onsite storage shed of approximately 20x30 ft that all need to be relocated. Ideally, we would like to stay in Henry County as we have built our resources here, and it could damage the rescue to move too far out of our supported network.
