TWE campaign for Hendry Urbano's Tuba Replacement

The Triangle Wind Ensemble  has organized this GoFundMe page to raise funds for Hendry Urbano, a musician and tuba player. Hendry had been Principal Tuba at the National Philharmonic of Venezuela, as well as Principal at the Symphony Orchestra of the Army of Venezuela, Professor of the specialization course at the School of Musicians of the Army, and Teacher of several brass sections of various projects of the Simón Bolívar National System.

The recent political turmoil in Venezuela forced Hendry to flee for his life, and in the process his prized tuba was confiscated. Hendry is now living with family in North Carolina's Triangle region, seeking asylum, and attempting to rebuild his life. To help him achieve this goal, TWE is hoping to raise enough money to help Hendry purchase a professional quality tuba.
