Raise money to pay for cancer treatment for Ailish

Myself and Robbie are hiking Baxter State Park and The Adironacks in July and August to raise money to help Ailish pay for her cancer treatments. You can either sponsor us for each mile we will be walking (50 miles) or just donate one lump sum. All proceeds are going directly to Ailish. We understand that these times are uncertain for many so we appreciate whatever you might be able to contribute. Updates will be provided by myself and Ailish. Who is Ailish Keating?  The most special memory I have of Ailish is of her staying with us in our Greenpoint apartment and hearing her read Sophia (then 3 years old) a bedtime story. The gist of the story was that there was a very special pony called Dewdrop waiting for Sophia back in Ireland next time she went back "home". My heart melted as I listened to them giggling in whispers so that they wouldn't wake us up. The lilt in Ailishs' voice must have sent me off to sleep too; dreaming of Ireland and a pony called Dewdrop. She is an amazing daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a friend, a love. An astute business woman, teacher, student, soul sister, a truth seeker. She is our own modern day wonder woman, embracing every challenge that is thrown her way. A life force to be reckoned with. She is funny, smart, beautiful, and witty with an infectious laugh to go along with the stories and anecdotes. Her ability to see the humor in things, her intuition, a wisdom beyond her years. You need advice? You ask our Ailish. But most of all, she is an amazing single Mom to her daughter Sophia. And right now she is also a warrior, battling cancer.
