Recognize and Honor Eritrean Legends

አብ ስነ–ጥበብ ኤርትራ ዓብን ብሉጽን አበርክቶ ዝገበሩ ሃገራውያን ንምዝካርን ክብርን ኣፍልጦን ንምሃብን ዝዓለመ መደብ “ከዋኽብቲ ኤርትራ”፡ ብዝኽሪ በሃር ስነ–ጥበበኛ የማነ ገብረሚካኤል (ባርያ) ንፍልም ኣለና።

እዚ ብተበግሶ ወለንታውያን ዝካየድ መደብ’ዚ፡ ብምኽንያት ርብዒ ዘመን ዕረፍቲ የማነ ባርያ ዝተበገሰ ኮይኑ፡ አብ ምዕባለ ስነ–ጥበብ ሃገርና መሰረታዊ አበርክቶ ንዝገበሩ ከዋኽብቲ በብእዋኑ ብኽብሪ ክንዝክርን ከነመስግንን ኢና።

ኩሉ ሃገራዊ ንዕቤትን ቀጻልነትን ናይዚ መደብ’ዚ ዝከኣሎ ከበርክትን ክሳተፍን ንጽውዕ።

እዚ ተታሒዙ ዘሎ መደብ፡ ንየማነ ባርያ ዝገልጽ መጽሓፍ ክጸሓፍ፡ ደርፍታቱ ብመንእሰያት ተሓዲሱ ክቐርብን ንኽብሩ ዓቢ ምርኢት ምድላውን ዝኣመሰሉ ትሕዝቶትት ክህልዎ'ዩ።

We are organizing an event in order to recognize and honor those who have contributed to greatly to the development of Eritrean art. In our inaugural event we honor the legendary Eritrean artist Yemane Gebremichael aka Barya, on the 25th anniversary of his passing.

This initiative will help publish Yemane Gebremichael's biography, remaster and renew his discography and a grand concert in his honor.

This initiative is organized by volunteers and plans to continue this tradition of honoring other artists notable contribution in Eritrean arts.
