Hope for Mat-Su RV Park & Therese (owner)
Donation protected
Therese Jankowski, the 77-year old owner-operator of Mat-Su RV Park, lost her business and homestead to the devastating fires that swept over the Susitna Valley area on August 18, 2019. The disaster took everything that she had.
For over 12 years, her RV park had been greeting guests from all over the world, making Alaska a welcoming place for so many. Her facilities also served locals year-round, being a place where they could come to shop, do their laundry, and take showers. She and her son Colin, who helps to run the business during the busy summer seasons, would never say no to a person in need.
Today they are facing a challenging moment in their lives, and we ask you that you help them. With the cold season approaching, Colin is trying to make appropriate arrangements for his mother. Your donation will show support for Therese and help her to spend the winter in the comfort of a temporary home. Perhaps your contribution will also give her hope and the strength to come back and rebuild the park.
