The Creative Event Space at Hope Tank!

**Much needed update:

We have had soooo many amazing gatherings at the new(ish) creative event space at Hope Tank, and the vibe is ON POINT! When I took over this space, I didn't really know what it was gonna be, and decided to let the community identify how it can best be used.

It's coming up on 2 YEARS we've been in the new space and now it's becoming really clear what the needs are that we are filling:

-Safe(r) space for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and Women to gather

-Evening and weekend space availability with PARKING!

-Cross-Sector work and collaboration space to meetup

-Affinity groups

-Nonprofit and for-profit staff retreats

-Board Meetings

-Facilitation space for groups of 15 and fewer

-Workshop space for creative small business to TEST their classes and create content for their offerings

-Neutral space for funders and leaders to have HARD and productive and healing conversations

-Continuing education space for creative professionals

-Intimate gatherings for folks to play and RELAX and RECHARGE

-Healing space for all modalities for underserved community members

The biggest thing we know is that folks need is free and low-cost access to book the space. And that is where we all come in!

Groups that are awaiting space sponsorship:

-CPR Trainings

-POC-led Public Speaking classes,

-Queer book club

-Drag Ballet Class

-Indigenous-led healing circles

-Woman-led Small Business Classes (retail, SEO, marketing)

-Black and Woman-led Community workshops

-Woman-led financial empowerment and education classes

-POC-led nonprofit doing youth violence prevention classes

-Indigenous and woman-led watercolor paint and sip class

-Art show and conversations led by a disabled photographer to uplift unhoused and disabled people

Our hourly rate is $75/hr which is below market rate, but is out of reach for most of these groups. With your donations I am able to offset the gap for those who need it. Please reach out with any questions!!
