Humboldt Elementary Field Of Dreams

The field at Humboldt Elementary is in need of Major improvement, including a Well repair, ground scraping and leveling, irrigation, top soil, dressing, seed, and lots of hard work. We would like to grass the field and clean up and rock around the panda on the hill. In conjunction with the Humboldt PTO, Dewey-Humboldt Little League and Desert Thunder Softball, our goal is to complete the work by the end of June, so the grass can grown during the month of July, while the kids are out of school. We are estimating the repair of the well at $6,000, irrigation supplies of $3,000, rock and soil at $3,000 and other equipment rental and skilled labor at $3,000; for a grand total of $15,000. We believe with all the volunteers we currently have, we can turn dirt and weeds into a beautiful field for our elementary students, tee-ball, baseball and softball players.
