IDA'S DAUGHTER

Ida, for many that name represents a devastating storm ripping at the fabric of an already fragile environment. 16yrs post Katrina new Orleans was just "shaking back". For me, that name represents a true giver, a master cosmetologist, youthmental health teacher, interior designer, parade organizer, a real spit fire, but most important MOMMY! 

She taught me to help from the heart,  to love from the soul, and to bless others as the creator blesses me. Before dementia took it's toll, she was a philanthropist for her people.

The purpose of this Go fund me is to do as she would.. help everyone that i can.  I will honor my mother's living legacy. Every family i can help will recieve $ 500.  I also plan to fill up a uhaul with adult diapers, water,non perishable food, clothes, blankets,  and entertainment for the nursing home my mother is in. I wish that i could buy a house, not work, and spend all of her remaining days with her. To know my mother is to know she'd love nothing more than that as well.. yup a real spit fire. She also knows the value she instilled in me and understands.. like her i have too help as many as i can.
