Support Kalie and Tyler’s IVF Journey for Genetic Testing

I’m raising money to support Kalie and Tyler in their IVF journey. In 2022 their first daughter, Phoebe, was diagnosed with an extremely rare life limiting illness just before her first birthday, called polr3a Leukodystrophy. This disease is passed down genetically and it was unknown that they were carriers until they had Phoebe. Because of this the only way to guarantee they do not have another child with the disease is through doing IVF for genetic testing purposes. This is a huge cost to them, the genetic testing alone is a huge cost. Because of their genetic mutation they carry it is likely they will have to go through multiple rounds of IVF to find an embryo that is not affected by Phoebe’s disease, and that cost is incredibly high.
