IXL funding for 3rd grade

Hi! I'm Ms. Vann, a 3rd grade math and science teacher.

I am trying to get funding for my class to have access to IXL. In the past, I have utilized their free trial but had to keep creating email address and various logins for my scholars to have use of it during the school year.

Due to this, none of their previous scores or accomplishments would be saved and they would have to constantly start over. This was very stressful for them and not fair.

IXL has been proven to work and motivates scholars because during those windows before we have to restart, they see and feel proud of their growth!

Also, they love that they are able to challenge themselves with harder work and they are feel more comfortable if they need more foundational skills.

I have seen my scholars grow atleast 15 points on state testing due to IXL.

I work in a Title 1 school in Silver Spring, MD. The majority of our population is low-income. My scholars face various hardships and I don't want education to be one.

With the funding, I will be able to purchase 40 accounts in 1 subject-Math.

If there is anything left over from funding, it will be spent on supplies for my classroom (games, manipulatives, prize box items, snacks, etc)
