My Ride to support Rochester Youth Cycling Club
Tax deductible
Due to Civid 19, I will not ride my bike across the country but instead, I will ride from Adams Ma,to ROchester, NY. 90% of the money raised will go to for Rochester Youth Cycling Club/Dream Bikes , and to honor Susan B Anthony and the 19th amendment the other 10% of your donation will go to the Susan B Anthony Birth Place Museum in Adams, Ma.
I am riding my bike from Adams, Mass. to Rochester NY , in honor of Susan B Anthony and the Centennial of the 19th Amendment and womens right to vote. Starting at Susan B Anthony's birth place museum , and making stops where Susan B has lived and worked including in Seneca Falls, Canajoharie, Battenville , and finishing at the Susan B Anthony Museum in Rochester. I will start my trip on August 22st and end on August 26th the day of the centennial celebration.
I would like to make this journey not just for me personally but to raise money for the benefit of Rochester Youth Cycling Club/ and Dream BIkes. Rochester Youth Cycling Club is a mountain bike club which I am a volunteer coach. We currently have 12 boys and girls in the club, many of whom participate in traveling and competing in mountain bike races. The money raised through this page will be for the purpose for providing bikes and equipment for kids who can't afford it and also adding racial diversity to the team. Currently, Cycling in America is overwhelmingly white and male and we want to promote more diversity. Thank you for supporting RYCC and Dream Bikes!!!
By your donating to the further growth and development of Rochester Youth Cycling Club it will be hugely beneficial to our community and the kids and families involved. Through supporting RYCC we are building a strong and diverse cycling community in Rochester. By having a stronger and more diverse bike community here in Rochester we will continue to be healthier, happier and a more connected society.
