In Memory of David Sosa

Incluyo este GoFundMe para mi hermano que se ahogó mientras trabajaba en la remodelación de una piscina.

Es con gran pesar que hemos venido a perder un alma maravillosa de esta tierra. David Sosa era mi hermano, amigo de muchos tíos e hijo. Mi hermano no tenía esposa ni hijos. Esta trágica pérdida nos ha impactado a todos de diversas maneras. La vida de mi hermano se vio truncada durante un evento horrible y traumático que ocurrió el lunes 17 de julio de 2023. Mi hermano estaba en el trabajo mientras ocurría este incidente, estaba remodelando una piscina en Potomac MD cuando se ahogó. Estaba con otro trabajador que mencionó a los detectives en el caso de mi hermano que trató de ayudar de muchas maneras. La persona que estaba trabajando con mi hermano fue a buscar al dueño de la casa que llamó al 911, cuando llegaron los paramédicos ya era demasiado tarde y falleció. Mi hermano ha sido trasladado al centro médico de Baltimore para una autopsia.

Debido a este incidente inesperado y las circunstancias financieras imprevistas que nos han afectado, estamos pidiendo ayuda para poder pagar los gastos del funeral de mi hermano. Como tenemos que enviarlo de regreso a su país de origen en El Salvador. Agradecemos cualquier ayuda que alguien pueda brindar para ayudarnos a enviarlo con mi papá y su mamá en El Salvador, ya que él hubiera querido ser enterrado en su país de origen.

Lo que podamos recaudar se usará para el funeral y cualquier gasto médico que debamos pagar. Agregaré las actualizaciones de la autopsia una vez que las recibamos.

Hello everyone, I am listing this GoFundMe for my brother who drowned while working on remodeling a pool. 

 It is with a heavy heart that we have come to lose a wonderful soul from this earth. David Sosa was my brother, a friend to many an uncle and a son. My brother did not have a wife or kids. This tragic loss has variously impacted us all. My brother's life was cut short during a horrific and traumatic event that happened on Monday July 17, 2023 my brother was on the job while this incident happened, he was remodeling a pool in Potomac MD when he drowned. He was with another worker who mentioned to the detectives on my brother's case that he tried to help in many ways. The person that was working with my brother went to get the homeowner who called 911, by the time the paramedics came it was too late and he passed away. My brother has been transferred to Baltimore medical center for an autopsy. 

 Due to this unexpected incident and the unforeseen financial circumstances that we have been hit with, we are asking for help to be able to pay for my brother's funeral costs. As we do have to send him back to his home country in El Salvador. 

We appreciate any assistance anyone can give to help us send him to my dad and his mom in El Salvador as he would have wanted to be buried in his home country What we can raise will be used for the funeral and any medical expenses that we would need to pay. I will add the autopsy updates once we receive them.
